Saturday 11 September - Last Night of the Proms
Somewhat belatedly and bowing to many requests, no Demands we are going to run the "Last Night of the Proms" again this year at Finca Pollywood on Saturday 11th September starting at 8-00pm, so that we can sing along with the Massed Choirs in the Royal Albert Hall, throughout the United Kingdom and indeed around the World.
We will make sure that we have adequate lighting around the garden this year, so that you can see and enjoy a choice of Lasagne (possible in keeping with the Proms theme it maybe Verdi) or Cottage Pie, with Salads and Snacks. as usual and in keeping with Legion policy please bring your own alcoholic drinks, soft drinks will be provided, all this and a good old singalong for just 8 euros a head with the profits going to the Poppy Appeal. Please get your tickets from Polly at the next Meeting (1st September).

Leave La Trocha at 9 a.m. Return to La Trocha at approx. 6 p.m.
