Coin Branch Social Committee prides itself on a range of activities to suit all of our members.  As well as our regular meetings, each of which has a special activity, we have a range of special interest groups who gather between meetings to pursue their favourite pastimes.

 

The Diners’ Group –  We run regular dining out events each month, alternating between evening and lunchtime, and cheaper and more expensive restaurants, cafes and ventas.  As part of this experience we are collecting Restaurant Reviews from our members with a view to publishing a Restaurant Guide later this year, in aid of the Poppy Appeal.

Gardening Group – awaiting expressions of interest

The Photography Group meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 10.30 a.m. at the El Palomar Hotel in Coin, under the leadership of John Jackson. Take this opportunity to learn more about your camera, and explore photography and its possibilities with this group.

 

 

The Bridge Group meets every Tuesday at El Palomar.  Interested players should contact Virginia :  952 112 780.

 

Games Mornings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 11 a.m. at the El Palomar.  Members and friends are invited for a coffee and quiet games of cards, chess, backgammon, mah-jong or to complete jigsaws and models.

 

Walking Group – Last Wednesday in the month. Further details on notice board or from Den (952453829), who would also like suggestions for walks.
